SURAJKUMAR, 6 May 2009:
I WANT TO KNOW WHY WE SHOULD TRUST IN GOD WE CAN KUST TRUST ON GURUS ,SAINTS..
Answer:
In a brief, this is the question of faith. As one great Guru said, I can show to you God but do you have eyes to see? What is necessary - eyes of faith. We all are hankering for beauty, charm, harmony, relationships. Mantra Om in Vedas means big YES, what your heart is searching for does exist! In Vedas God called Krishna, All-attractive, because He is Love, Beauty, Charm, Happiness personified. Being eternal by our nature, we cannot be fully satisfied by anything material, anyway in the end of everything - dissapointment and frustration. That's why we need to learn how to achieve Krishna. Krishna Himself saying in Bhagavad-gita: tad viddhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya - "If you want to get this knowledge about Me, you need to find bona fide Guru who is My representative, dedicate yourself to him (pranipat), ask questions about goal of life and so on (pariprasna) and do service (seva). Moreover, Krishna saying is Srimad Bhagavatam: acharyam mam vijaniyam namavanyeta karhichit - "I come to you in appearance of Guru". To read scriptures is good but not sufficient because book cannot control what and how you understood what is written there. Guru is expert and our tutor in spiritual science. Guru is like transparent medium, like lense in telescopic system. System of lenses - Guru-parampara, disciplic succession of spiritual masters - makes Beautiful Reality closer to us and we become able to see by eyes of faith.
